However, this number is expected to grow significantly. By 2054, projections suggest that centenarians will make up about 0.1% of the population, or 1 in every 1,000 Americans [1].

🥗 1. Alternative Healthy Eating Index (AHEI)
  • Focuses on: Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, legumes, and healthy fats.
  • Limits: Red/processed meats, sugary drinks, and trans fats.
  • Impact: Strongly associated with reduced risk of chronic diseases and better aging outcomes.

🫒 2. Mediterranean Diet (aMED)
