About Pollinators

The most prominent pollinator organizations operate on a global and continental scale, leading research, habitat creation, and public education. The major organizations spearheading these efforts include: [1, 2, 3]

• Pollinator Partnership (P2): The largest nonprofit globally focused exclusively on the protection and promotion of pollinators and their ecosystems. They run the North American Pollinator Protection Campaign (NAPPC), Bee Friendly Farming certification, and organize the annual nationwide Pollinator Week. [1, 2, 4, 5, 6]

About Pollinators
Birds, bats, bees, butterflies, beetles, and other small mammals that pollinate plants are responsible for bringing us one out of every three bites of food. They also sustain our ecosystems and produce our natural resources by helping plants reproduce.

• Monarch Joint Venture: A massive partnership of government agencies, NGOs, and academic institutions focused on conserving the monarch butterfly and its migratory routes through habitat creation and science-based action. [9]
• Bee City USA / Bee Campus USA: An initiative managed by the Xerces Society that galvanizes local communities and universities to sustain pollinators by maintaining pesticide-free, plant-rich habitats. [7]
