​When the pandemic blindsided the food industry and supermarket employees were losing their jobs overnight, I pulled together an emergency effort to help.

​What started as a rapid‑response group of 193 people connecting with one another and with the companies in my network — quickly turned into something bigger.

People landed on their feet. New opportunities opened. And the momentum didn’t stop. That early crisis group has since evolved into a living, breathing LinkedIn community dedicated to food‑industry careers.
