For more than 600 years, lucky British Angel coins have been treasured by millions. Medieval kings and queens often bestowed Angel coins on worthy subjects, and these coveted coins were believed by many to bring the bearer good luck, fortune, and were even thought to have cured sickness and saved lives. They’re also available to modern collectors thanks to the Isle of Man, a British protectorate located between Ireland and Great Britain that has been issuing gold and silver Angel coins since 1984.
🪙 2025 Isle of Man Silver Angel (1 oz Bullion - BU)
The 2024 Lucky Silver Angel that features the classic reverse design of the Archangel Michael slaying a dragon while the coin’s obverse shows the effigy of King Charles III. Isle of Man Angel Coin A bullion and commemorative coin based on the French Angelot or Ange design, which was introduced to England by Edward IV in 1465. The 2024 Isle of Man Silver Angel coin features King Charles III in left-profile relief on the obverse without a crown, the first time this portrait has appeared on an Isle of Man coin. Back in June 2018, when my defibrillator went off for the first time (it went off again Dec 2025), I was working at a NJ based Manufacturing Association. The CEO there JK as you can read below had been given an angel by his mom and he continued the tradition by giving me an Isle of Man angel coin, which he had said that it would help protect me. The understanding is that if someone else needs the coin more than you do, then you pass it on to that person. After carrying this coin for a while I passed the original coin off to a close friend Lisa who needed it more than me at that time.
After giving my original coin, I then purchased two more Isle of Man silver coins. one to replace mine and one to have incase someone else needed one. The positive karma you provide to the coin by carrying it with you is part of this concept too. I then replaced the original one given to Lisa with one of the new coins I had purchased, and gave my original coin to Lourdes who had been diagnosed with serious stage breast cancer, of course passing the original coin on to someone who needs it more ! Several years later early 2024, I came across Candice, who had a sister who had cancer and young children she was helping her sister through this and watching her kids. Giving up most of her personal life to do this. I passed her my coin from my wallet upon learning this. Purchasing a few more coins, three 2024 coins one sent to Tyler and it never arrived as someone stole the coin and I got the envelope back in the return mail with no coin in it. I gave new coin in Dec 2024 to Cynthia, who I know for 6 years, to protect her as she is a special person to me. In September 2025 I met a very impressive young woman Kat who is leaving this week to go study in Poland for 6 years to become a doctor. There was just something about her that made me feel she could be helped by having the coin I was carrying. The Triumph Of Good Over Evil Struck by London’s prestigious Tower Mint in a Troy ounce of highly pure 99.9% fine silver, these coins are treasured touchstones of good fortune and health, often passed down through generations. The coin’s classic depiction of the triumph of Good over Evil has been an iconic annual release right from the start after it was awarded the prestigious “Coin of the Year Award” for excellence in its first year. Today’s Angel Coins Are More Than Mere Tokens Of Good Luck More than mere tokens of good luck, today’s Angel coins from the Isle of Man coins are official legal tender and are struck in pure precious metal. These One-Ounce Silver Angel coins also come in gleaming Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition. In addition to the Saint Michael & the Dragon design, the coin’s reverse also features the denomination of “1 ANGEL,” the purity of “Ag.999,” and the weight of “1 OUNCE.” The King’s portrait on the coin’s obverse also features the year date “2024,” and the country of issue: “ISLE OF MAN.” Just 10,000 of these 2024 Isle of Man One-Ounce Silver Angel coins have been struck for worldwide release. My youngest son Tyler came up with this
idea of making up a "Token of Appreciation" to be used within NhN as a way to share and acknowledge the great pay it forward culture that occurs every day. "Pay It Forward Token" These "tokens" magnets will be issued by the founder to each of our lead facilitators to be given out at the weekly meeting to new members based on establishment of seeing the new member attend meetings regularly, as we know that members who come each week not only benefit for themselves but are helping others which is what the group is all about.
Each new member then holds on to this token until a NhN members does a significant pay it forward act for them. They then will give their token to the next member who does a pay it forward, and then so on and so on. There will be a small supply for the facilitators and the founder to give to selected non NhN members or if you will "Friends of NhN" who do a Pay It Forward action, that either benefits a member or the organization. When someone preforms a Pay It Forward Act we want that announced at the regular weekly meeting and reported back to me the founder so we can make members aware of our great culture. We want members to tell when they get this token from someone else and the Facilitators are asked to share the great stories in our LinkedIn NhN group. Success # 313 - Tyler of NhN River Edge said.” My Dad forwarded me a posting for a Digital Marketing and Web Communications Specialist from a NhN member Carolyn and it was very timely, because I was feeling particularly down about my future job prospects. I read through the description and decided it was something I was interested in. I spent that whole day researching the company and the whole night writing my cover letter. I submitted the application and heard back from the company within a week to set-up an interview. I traveled to the city, met my current boss and some other employees, and went home hoping they liked me. A few days later, I received an offer to start with the company on a one-week trial basis to see if I was a good fit. On July 15th, I started working there and I haven't looked back. I'm very lucky to get this position and it was thanks to the network offered by NhN that serves as a wonderful extension of all our eyes and ears. www.nhnusa.org |
